Comedy, music and gospel combine for Pride Weekend spectacular Outrageous stand-up comedy, proudly South African music and a gospel celebration combine for Pride Weekend at Carnival City from 6 to 8 March 2015. The awesome music and comedy festival kicks off on Friday, 6 March 2015 with the Pride Musical Fest at 18h00. The Menlyn Boutique Hotel welcomes 2015 with ‘Bowties and Sequins’ Saying good bye to 2014 and welcoming 2015 was a classy occasion at the 5-star Menlyn Boutique Hotel.  The first of the annual New Year’s Eve ‘Bowties and Sequins’ event was a huge success.  Joburg and Pretoria’s ‘finest’, rocked their bowties and sequins and partied the night away until the early hours of the morning. Three weeks to go until top 80s bands descend on Carnival City The countdown has begun until the world’s biggest 80s music festival returns to South Africa.
