BEEF AND LENTIL SOUP INGREDIENTS 250 g Beef chuck, cut into small cubes 1 Onion, finely diced 10 ml Robertsons Paprika 1 Large carrot, peeled and chopped into 1cm cubes 1 Large potato, peeled and chopped into 1cm cubes 1 Stick celery, chopped into 1cm cubes 1 KNORR Beef Stock Pot 1.25 litres Water 250 ml Lentils, cooked and drained METHOD Heat oil in a pot and fry the chopped beef until well browned then remove from the pot and set aside. Add onions to the pot and fry until tender then add the Robertsons Paprika and fry for 1 minute to release the flavour and aroma. Return the beef to the pot with the carrots, potato, celery and KNORR Beef Stock Pot, stir well and allow to cook for 2 minutes. Add the water and lentils and bring to the boil then reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 45 minutes partially covered. Serve with fresh crusty bread rolls.
  Waterberg Extreme Mountain Bike Charity Challenge An Introduction The purpose of The Waterberg Charity Bike Challenge is to raise funds for two privately funded non-profit organisations in the Waterberg region: The Waterberg Welfare Society and the Waterberg Academy Educational Trust . The two organisations are described later in this document. The Bike Challenge will cover a distance of approx. 250km over 8 days. The Waterberg region is a generally underprivileged area in the North of South Africa. The region is also one of the most scenic and exciting areas of the country and ideally suited for an introduction to African life, its wonderful people and fascinating wildlife. To explore this region by bike will be an exceptional and unique adventure. Participating in the Bike Challenge will also be an important and hugely appreciated opportunity to help secure the continued work of two vital community activities in the Waterberg region. CELLAR RATS  SPRING WINE   FESTIVAL benefiting Woodland School Brought to you by  Sunday 7 September - 11.00am to 3.00pm at the “Old Mill”, Magaliesberg The Spring Wine Festival, will be held on Sunday 7 th September, in aid of the Woodland School in Magaliesberg.  Our emphasis is on tasting South Africa 's best wines in a tranquil outdoor setting. To this end, more than 100 producers will present in excess of 600 products for the adult tasters’ enjoyment. This is a family festival, with supervised entertainment for children whilst the parents relax and enjoy the wines in the countryside.
