Estilo Cubano had the privilege of bringing some of the best dance instructors from Havana to South Africa in 2016. We danced, we laughed, we met fellow dancers, and we were introduced to the diverse world of Cuban music and dance by our two amazing teachers, Adrian and Carlos. 2017 won’t be any different. We start the New Year in style because once again, Estilo Cubano will be hosting dance workshop & salsa party in Pretoria with another talented, multifaceted, charismatic and unique dance instructor from Havana: Joan Bernal.

Joan has been dancing since he could walk and by the time he was 18 his urban dance choreographies were winning festivals and dance competitions in and around Havana. Being adept in Hip Hop and traditional Afro Cuban dances, it was very easy for Joan to excel as a dance instructor & performer.

Immerse yourself into Cuban salsa & Cuban Dances with our professional instructor whose energy and moves will blow your mind! Appreciate the true Cuban flavour as you learn authentic moves and techniques that will help you master your own dance style in a very fun way. Through Joan, you will experience the spontaneous, vibrant, passionate, and friendly Cuban spirit right here in South Africa.

SATURDAY 1st OF APRIL 2017

Italian Club: 78 George Storrar Drive (Next to Virgin Active), Groenkloof, Pretoria

Levels will be divided into 2 groups: Beginners & Intermediate

1) Beginners Group starts @ 9am (Salsa, Rueda, Son, Rumba)

2) Intermediate Group starts @ 11am (Son, Rumba, Salsa, Rueda)

• Salsa Party starts @ 8pm (Includes Salsaton Class!)


- Package Pass (Four hour’s dance instruction + Salsa party): Before 17th of Mar R 500 per person /After R 600 per person

- Single Pass (One hour dance instruction): R 150 per person

- Salsa Party entrance fee: R 100 per person
