But tracking down the very best outlet and factory shops in Johannesburg can be a bit of mission which is why the WomenStuff team has put together a definitive list of some of the top clothing, furniture, homeware and food factory shops in all of Joburg. 1. Coricraft Clearance Store – Randburg

The Coricraft factory store is the ideal place to shop for beautiful Coricraft pieces at a fraction of the price. The stores stocks everything from small decorative pieces to dining room tables, couches and more and they are always receiving new stock. Most of the stock in the store is out of season stock that needed to leave the flagship stores to make way for new collections but you will also find some soiled goods and goods with small marks or scratches on them.

2. Big Blue Clearance Store – Linden

Big Blue is known for their unique T-shirts, quirky products and boho fashions, but unique products like this don’t come cheap! So what is a girl to do? Head to the factory store in Linden that’s what! The Big Blue Clearance store offers a wide range of T-shirts, household items and clothing at huge discounts – sure it’s last season’s stuff but who cares when you’re paying half-price?

3. Sir Juice Factory Shop – Johannesburg

The Sir Juice 100% fruit juices and other drinks are definitely a cut above the rest, the only problem is they’re supermarket prices aren’t exactly the cheapest in town. 4. Lorna Jane Discount Factory Outlet – Strijdom Park




We all adore Lorna Jane’s fabulous sports gear but let’s face it; it takes a long time to save up for just one item from their oh-so-fabulous collections. So many women see Forever New as the holy grail of fashion in South Africa but, with dresses going for as much as R1000 a pop, not many of us can afford to shop there. But besides that, a visit to the Forever New factory shop will give you access to so much more Forever New goodies at a fraction of the price. From dresses and pants to handbags, accessories and more, this factory shop has it all!

6. Decofurn Furniture Factory Shop – Fourways

Decofurn is every young adults dream. If you’ve recently moved into your first home and are struggling to furnish the place then you need to pay a visit to this store. Decofurn offers a range of furniture; including beds, couches, dining room tables and so much more at absolutely incredible prices. The pieces are basic and modern and are perfect for a first home!

7. Cotton On Factory Shop – Faerie Glen




The Cotton On factory shop at Atterbury Value Mart might not be in Joburg but it’s so worth the drive! This spot is quite a find for Cotton On fans. The store offers everything from shoes and sleepwear to dresses and underwear at greatly reduced prices. Most of the store is a factory shop, except for one section near the front door which showcases some new full-priced stock – watch out for that one! Our editor popped into the store and scored tank tops and T-shirts for as little as R50 and dresses for R100 each.

8. Green Cross Shoes Factory Shop – Germiston

Green Cross isn’t just for grannies anymore! They actually have some super chic options in their latest collections and now that you’ve found the factory shop it’s time to stock up on comfortably chic shoes!
