Drive-In : JHB

Where : Sylvia's Market - 59 Frederick Street, Observatory, 2198 Johannesburg, Gauteng

It's not about the film, but the experience!
We’re a brand new outdoor cinema offering the Drive-In experience, once per month, in a new area, around Gauteng.

You vote for the films, of which one must be child friendly :)

SCHEDULE:
17:00 Venue Open
19:00 - Cheaper by the Dozen
21:00 - Dirty Dancing
23:30 Venue Close
*Times might change.

Tickets are limited and are only available online.
Popcorn, Drinks and Snack Bar available at the venue :)
What can I do and what should I not do? http://drivein.co/rules/
Your ticket allows you admission for two movies. We suggest that you arrive one hour before the first show, alternatively, if you’re planning to watch only the 2nd show, you’ll want to arrive about thirty minutes prior to show time.

The audio for the movies is broadcast through an FM transmitter to your radio, so make sure you have a good sound system in your vehicle.

We recommend that 4×4 vehicles, or hatchbacks, park backwards so that the tailgate  end is facing the movie screen, that way you can fill the bed of your car with pillows and blankets while you watch the movie from there.  You can also place camping chairs in front or behind your vehicle if you’d like to sit outside of your vehicle, as long as you are not obstructing anyone’s view or taking up additional parking spaces that are needed for other patrons.

We have a snack bar full of treats and goodies from hot buttery fresh popcorn, ice cold drinks to your favorite movie candy, burgers, hot dogs and more!  We ask that you please help support the Drive-In and not bring in outside food or drinks.
