Bringing you Beauty within at The Menlyn Boutique Hotel

The Menlyn Boutique Hotel opened the doors of their stunning upgraded spa recently.  Beauty Within, the hotel’s signature spa, combines local and global techniques with the use of premium quality products to provide industry best treatments. Guests are met by the tranquil sound of flowing water and calming background music upon entering the spa.  The gentle aromas scented candles are sure to take minds away from the fast paced world and into the relaxed environment of the spa.  

The spa which initially opened at The Menlyn Boutique Hotel in 2013 consisted of a reception area and one treatment room.  Due to its success, as well as the increased popularity of the hotel, the size of the spa was no longer adequate and an upgrade was needed. 

The renovated spa now boasts three magnificent and spacious treatment rooms as well as a couple’s room which overlooks a private terrace.  Elegantly decorated with a combination of clean, modern lines and a hint of French flair.  Carefully selected colors outline the theme of serenity. White representing perfection, silver contributing to the peaceful feminine energy and grey to promote calmness.

The spa which is open to the public and hotel guests is run by Izaan Volschenk who has been in the beauty industry for over nineteen years, her experience includes working at a number of beauty salons as well as working on her own.  Izaan chose to pursue a career in beauty because of her love and passion for making others feel good about themselves.

The owners of the WH Leisure Group have been loyal clients of Izaan’s for over fifteen years and they undoubtedly knew that she was the perfect person to approach to run the spa at the hotel.  “The quality of her treatments and the professional personal care are all factors that made this decision easy for us,” explains Quintin Wiehahn, Managing Director of The Menlyn Boutique Hotel.

The spa offers various facials and uses luxury products including Thalgo, Nimue, Simply Bee and Beauty Within, Izaan’s exclusive fragrance range.  Waxing, massage therapy, hand and nail treatments are also offered on the menu.  “We take pride in offering the finest indulgence of relaxation, stress management and beauty aesthetics,” explains Izaan.  “Our mission is to please our clients with treatments that will ensure that they leave Beauty Within feeling beautiful, refreshed and rejuvenated,” concludes Izaan.  









Situated in the heart of the Tshwana Metropole, The Menlyn Boutique Hotel provides a 5-star hotel offering the industry’s best in luxury accommodation, fine dining and premium conferencing.   Formerly known as the Menlyn Guest Lodge, which was awarded the esteemed status of Best Guest Lodge in the 2012 Tshwane Tourism Awards, renovations and re-branding exercises began on what is now known as the Menlyn Boutique Hotel in June of 2012. The intention was to transform the property into a world-class luxury destination.
