Trevor Noah takes friends on NationWILD tour with Tsogo Sun

In a first for South Africa’s favourite comedian, Trevor Noah has hand-picked five young, yet-to-become-household-names for a nationwide group comedy tour to seven of Tsogo Sun’s entertainment destinations.
The NationWILD Comedy Tour features Trevor Noah, who will host the show, together with Dillan Oliphant, Eugene Khoza, Dusty Rich, Loyiso Madinga (LoyMad) and Robby Collins at The Ridge in Witbank, Hemingways in East London, Golden Horse in Pietermaritzburg, Suncoast Casino, Hotels and Entertainment in Durban, Emnotweni in Nelspruit, Goldfields in Welkom, and Silverstar in Krugersdorp. The first show runs for two days at The Ridge from 29-31 August, and the last show is from 15-16 November in Silverstar.
“Tsogo Sun is proud to be a part of this innovative and exciting collaboration,” comments Sizwe Jantjie, Tsogo Sun’s Group Events & Entertainment Manager.
“This event is perfectly in line with our entertainment strategy to secure group deals to enable these shows to be seen at a range of our leisure destinations – both our bigger and smaller ones. This is the first time ever that Trevor Noah will be taking his show to smaller cities around the country, and invariably the big shows don’t end up at our smaller properties, but with this groupwide tour, we have a wonderful opportunity to take these shows to an untapped – and no doubt very excited – audience,” adds Jantjie.
Noah too, is delighted at the opportunity presented by NationWILD. "I'm really excited for South Africa to see these talented young comics. We have a great line-up that showcases the best of the best of the young comedic talent out there," says Noah. "Many people let me perform on the biggest stages early on in my career and this tour will hopefully present a great platform for these talented young guys to take their careers to new heights.”
