Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotel Wins Best Hotel Nigeria again at The International Hotel Awards Competition 2013-2014



Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotel, one of Tsogo Sun’s over 90 hotels and 14 casino and entertainment destinations, recently emerged winner of the prestigious and coveted award of the 'Best Hotel Nigeria 2013/2014 African Region'. At a colourful award ceremony which took place in Dubai, organized by the International Hotel Awards, the hotel clinched the prestigious award for the second time. It will be noted that the hotel previously won the award for Best Hotel Nigeria 2011-2012 (Africa Region).

Expressing delight with the hotel's successive win in two years, the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Mark Loxley, attributed the success to "fantastic team effort, ongoing hard work and the dedication of staff and management in providing a consistent high level of good quality guest service, diligence and commitment". Mr Loxley noted that, the award will "encourage staff and management to continue in their efforts, towards maintaining very high quality of service delivery at all times".

These awards represent the hotel’s consistency in maintaining years of international standards which ultimately confirms Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotel as a topmost player in the hospitality industry. Likewise, the awards are in recognition of the hotel’s consistent delivery of quality products and customer service over the years.
