Prime Angus beef specials at Tsogo Sun
South African bred Angus beef is acclaimed
internationally for its beautifully soft, tender and delicious flavour and
texture, with no added hormones or antibiotics. Tsogo Sun is celebrating with a
special promotion of prime Angus beef steaks and burgers at selected
restaurants in Johannesburg.
The offer includes a grilled-to-perfection Angus
rib-eye steak served with
roasted red wine onion marmalade, cafe de Paris butter, wild mushroom and
truffle jus, salted vine tomato, and French fries, which is paired with a 250ml
glass of Nederburg Private Bin Merlot 2006 auction wine. The price is
unbeatable at R220 for the meal and R150 for the wine.
For those with a liking for burgers, the
promotion also includes a grilled 200g Angus beef burger topped with
melted boerenkaas cheddar, wild mushroom sauce, roasted red onion relish,
gherkin slices, and onion marmalade, served with French fries or a side salad,
which is paired with a Carvers Weiss beer. The burger promotion is priced at
just R110.
“A meal of Angus beef is a treat for all meat-lovers, particularly
because the young Angus cattle thrive in a relaxed pastoral setting to ensure
that no added hormones or antibiotics are needed. We’re delighted to be able to
offer these meals in our promotion in time for the festive season, when dining
out is invariably a special occasion”
says Ravi Nadasen.
The promotion is running in restaurants at the Sandton Sun, Palazzo
Montecasino, 54 on Bath, Southern Sun Hyde Park, Garden Court Sandton City,
Southern Sun Montecasino, InterContinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers, and
InterContinental OR Tambo.
“We look forward to welcoming hungry meat lovers to our restaurants for
this Angus feast – whether they already know and love the excellent flavour of
Angus, or whether they don’t but are keen to taste it for themselves. They will
be delighted by their choice,” adds Ravi Nadasen Director Operations of Tsogo
Sun.
