Watch the Sansui Summer Cup live at Sports Bar

One of the most anticipated premier horse races, the Sansui Summer Cup, is taking place on Saturday the 26th November.  Dubbed ‘the people’s race’, this encounter for glory will be taking place at Turffontein Racecourse. Don’t despair if you’re unable to attend because Emerald Resort & Casino will be airing all 12 races live throughout the day!

With so many state-of-the-art flat screens, coupled with one big high definition screen, fans have everything they need to support their favourite horse on race day in a home away from home environment.

“Sports Bar was created a few years ago with the intention of being the first choice for sport fans to catch all the latest live sporting events. Guests can choose to watch any of their favourite sports on high definition screens with multiple channels showing a variety of sports all available for viewing at the same time,” says Emerald Resort & Casino’s Marketing Executive Tanuja Gangabishun.

“The venue has over the years played host to many sporting legends including the likes of champion South African jockey Piere Strydom. We’re looking forward to a fantastic atmosphere on race day from 11am onwards."

During the Sansui Summer Cup, all races will be screened live until the last race into the evening. Sports Bar is also offering racing fans a great brunch deal, with a draught, for R50 per person.

 

“We support all South African sport fully and encourage all like minded South Africans to join us at Sports Bar, not only for the Sansui Cup, but for all your favourite sporting events live and in HD," says Tanuja.

 

Sports Bar is a fully licensed restaurant that offers a full menu of all the pub classics. The venue permits smoking, over 18 only venue, that includes TAB facilities and six state of the art slot machines.
