Carnival City plays host to much anticipated Pride Weekend again
this year
Carnival
City has been selected once again to host the much anticipated Pride Weekend
which combines hilarious stand-up comedy and awesome live music performances by
proudly South African artists. This year’s Pride Weekend takes place on
11 and 12 March 2016, and tickets are on sale at Computicket, ranging in price
from R125 per person.
The first
day of the Pride Weekend features a music concert characterized by
infectious afro soul and house tunes. Artists on the bill for the Pride Weekend
music event include The Soil, Mafikizolo, Black Motion and K2 hosted by mzansi
sexiest woman and big brother finalist Blue Mbombo, and comedian Tumi
Stopnonsons. The second day of the event is dedicated to comedy, with top
comedians such as Joey Rasdien, Trevor Gumbi, Salesman, Pule, Thapelo Tips,
Dillan Oliphant, Mdu Ntuli, Tumi Stopnonsons, hosted by the hilarious
TallAssMo, collaborating to have the audience rolling in the aisles.
