Ring in the New Year at the V&A Waterfront

[Cape Town, 16 October 2014] Dust off your party shoes, grab that feather boa and make your way to Africa and the Mother City’s most popular New Year party at the V&A Waterfront.

A custom-built stage on the water’s edge at Jetty 1 will provide revellers with non-stop free entertainment from Jeremy Olivier, Mi Casa, Hot Water, Jeremy Loops, and the winning band from the Take the Stage competition.

With an illuminated Table Mountain as a backdrop and the lights of the city reflected in the bay, the Waterfront offers an unsurpassed visual experience for partygoers.  The countdown to 2015 will be also be marked by an explosion of colour and light from one of the most impressive fireworks displays in South Africa.

For those who prefer to overlook the party, the action on stage can be viewed from a number of different restaurants, including Harbour House, Quay Four, Alba Lounge, and the Hildebrand.
