A Different and Refreshingly Fun Game At Carnival City
Excitement at Carnival City never seems to stop, with Comedy
Sessions, Extravaganzas shows, bright lights and now a new type to fascinating
show, or is it a game – call it what you will but Beer Pong is taking a tall to
many vising guests, taking place in the Carnival Sports Bar on Fridays between
7pm and 9pm, this is a contests you cannot stomach to loose.
With locals participation increasing weekly, this is a
drinking sport that may be in the Olympics sooner, if Carnival City has its way
with the game.
The game requires R50 entry fee, steady hand, a loud mouth,
faulty hearing and a liver of steel. Depending on your luck, you may leave a
reigning champion with bragging rights for the night, and R1200 worth of gaming
credits richer as prize money.
The game is played on a Ping-Pong-like table, only slightly
smaller, by teams of two. Ten cups, filled to a-third of a cup with beer, are
set like bowling pins near the table edges. As you try bounce a Ping-Pong ball
into the cups on the side opposite to yours, occasionally opponents jump and
yell sounds to intimidate opponents, but if you make it, you get to make them
drink the cup. The first team to sink all 10 cups wins. Very Sophisticated, ha!
To book a turn against your buddies or a worthier opponent,
visit the Carnival Sports Bar to register, registration is from 6pm, and the
games run until 22h00.

Expect nothing less than a boogie afternoon, with boogie songs, ‘well known’ R&B classics, and a taste of way-back afro-soul, this will be a session to cancel all your Sunday appointments for.
